2nd Nov '07 - 'Ol English Night II

Monash alumni who attended the MUAAS O’ English Nite II on 02 Nov 07
left with a different kind of festivity mood.

Many who came, expecting an atmosphere of old Victorian setting, instead experienced the revelation when the tail end of the mid summer night came to life with an explosive beat to the dynamic pulse of Bon Jovi’s “Its My Life”, performed by our own MUAAS Band lead vocalist and guitarist alumnus Zulnizam Kamaron.

In next to no time, the snug bar of Penny Black Bar at Boat Quay was transformed to an energetic party box where the MUAAS Band brought the house down. Even as some alumni continued to wind down the evening with glasses of English ale and fine food, others were getting rowdy, cheering with their glasses of beer as they celebrated the night while recalling their undergraduate days in Melbourne.

This MUAAS event saw over 45 Monash alumni members having a wail of a time, singing along with the band and dancing to the hits. When the gathering ended at Penny Black, with their adrenaline still flowing, a group adjourned to Zouk to begin yet another round of revelry.

Well if you think you have missed this great nite of hanging and chilling out, don’t loose sleep over it! Email Romil Singh (Activity Officer) now, to register your interest for the next MUAAS party nite: “You Only Live Once”...soon….at St James Power Station!
